Zonal Commander for Ogun Central, CDR Sonde O. Representing the Ag. TGC/CEO Omonayajo É.A, accompanied by CC Oyebola A. M., conducted an onsite inspection of the ongoing road construction at Lakatabu, near the Lafarge Cement Company along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

This visit follows reports of heavy traffic congestion in the area last week. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of TRACE Ewekoro Division operatives, FRSC personnel, and the Crane Burg Construction Company, traffic flow along the corridor has since improved significantly.

During the inspection, the Zonal Commander expressed appreciation to the site supervisors for their support during the ongoing palliative interventions, which helped ease traffic congestion. He urged continued cooperation to sustain and further improve traffic conditions as work progresses. Moreso, the Zonal Commander admonished motorists to obey traffic rules and regulations to avert causing unnecessary gridlocks.

As of the time of this report, traffic is flowing steadily, though minor delays are still expected due to ongoing road work. TRACE and FRSC officials remain on-site to monitor and manage the situation.
