The Ogere axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, inbound, is experiencing traffic challenge due to a containerized laden truck 🚛🚒 with chemicals, which fell on its side, blocking the entire inbound stretch, before Ogere bridge, due to mechanical complications (break failure and loss of control).

However, TRACE ditto FRSC and the Police are already on ground managing the situation to redirect traffic, through rerouting and ensure prompt evacuation of the fallen containerized truck through a crain.

Nevertheless, while those already caught up in traffic are admonished to exercise patience, as they maneuver the small opening created for them to make their way through, other motorists just making their way out, particularly from Lagos inbound Ibadan are urged to go through this alternative route: Sagamu Interchange-Iperu-Saapade to go and link Lagos-Ibadan Expressway at Saapade axis.

Furthermore, TRACE operatives are strategically stationed along the alternative routes at Iperu, Saapade and Sagamu Interchange to maintain orderliness and ensure a thoroughfare.

Nonetheless, any inconveniences created as a result of this unfortunate situation is highly regretted please.
